Updated Nearby Widget for iOS 10 lets you find misplaced devices with just a tap, right from your Lock screen. Just swipe right to reveal your widgets and Marco Polo will automatically find any device around you!

The Marco Polo app runs silently in the background and never disturbs you until you need it. No more panic attacks or getting to a Mac to find your device—Marco Polo works with just your voice and completely offline (no Wi-Fi or cellular needed). The app will listen across multiple rooms, even multiple levels in your home, and will override silent mode so you can find your device no matter what. Simply launch the app, then shout MARCO! That’s it!

For even more fun try installing Marco Polo on multiple devices. You can distinguish each device by changing the input phrase, voice and custom response, so that each iOS device behaves differently.

Note: Marco Polo currently uses an acoustic model for North American accents. If you have a non North American accent it may be less responsive.

LIMITATIONS
These limitations are imposed by iOS and are required for all apps that use the microphone:
• Some notifications and sounds will get silenced. Phone calls, calendar alerts, and clock alarms will continue to make sounds.

PRIVACY & REQUIREMENTS
• Marco Polo does NOT require Wi-Fi or cellular. All voice processing is done on your device and is never sent or stored anywhere. Nothing ever gets saved. Nothing ever leaves your device.
• Nearby Widget requires iOS 8 and a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) compatible device. However devices running iOS 7 that are BLE compatible can still be discovered. Devices must be running Marco Polo.

The app works like a charm! The only thing I would like to see is a list of the voices to choose from.

Its a very good app! So funny and It works very well! I recommend it to everyone who loses their phones all the time.

As long as your phone isnt under a couch cushion and you dont mind running around yelling Marco!.. I guess its okay. I usually lose mine at home. Thats right, Im a loser.

Some of the comments here are funny. This is a fun app. It gave me and my friends giggles listening to all the different voices. If you are expecting the app to work to work when your phone is power off...forget it. If you want it to work. Activate the app. If you cant stand the red bar on top of your screen, turn the app off (double click your home button and swipe the app off). Simple. It is a fun app and serve its purpose for me!

Some bad moments

This app isnt developed enough to even be worth the $1 it costs. The app thinks it hears you calling the keyword when you havent (especially if youre playing a YouTube video or something like that) and it rarely picks up when youre actually saying the keyword. It has an option to change the keyword, but that doesnt really seem to help. Its also kind of annoying that you have to have it on in the background and the red bar near your notifications has to be showing in order for it to work. I hit that bar on accident all the time and it launches the full app. I understand the need for these features, which is why I didnt give it one star, but they are annoying and unhelpful nonetheless, which is why I only gave this app 2 stars.

The voices are fun and the app works fine, but this red status bar limitation really bothers me. Cant have it. :(

You have to shout like a crazy person and the phone has to be 20cm away and it will work but its hard to lose a phone within that distance..

Say conclude and it does the same job. Prob works wif otha words as well

Within 24 hrs, we deleted this from both of our phones. Doesnt work unless you have opened the app, goes off with words other than Marco - even the TV sets it off. The update they sent wont even download. Worst app Ive ever used. Easier just to phone your phone if you lose it.
