I have to scream very loud then only if I talk right into the mike it only works... The first few times then nothing at all. But a good idiea if it it works.

Saw it on tv. Was excited but quickly got disappointed. Only responds it MARCO is said a certain way. Has to be on all the time. If u turn it off, it wont respond. When in the car, if app is on, Bluetooth doesnt work. Fun app to play with family.

Too many other things (words) seem to trigger its response. Even after changing "Marco" to a different word or words, if theres noise in the background it often barks out the response youve picked... DONT leave it on at work, in a school lecture, a theatre, public transit, while watching TV, or during a family dinner, etc... Therefore only turn it on when you KNOW youre going to lose your phone... (which of course makes it pointless/useless!) ... LOL! Also, by having to leave it on in the background, it contributes to a quicker depletion of your cells battery power. I realize that its an "Apple" requirement for some apps... but that non-removable red bar at the top of your phones screen, with the continually flashing Marco Polo in white, is immediately distracting and frustrating! That type of banner should be reserved for... I dunno, a dire warning that your phone is going to blow up or something? And you probably know a few kids (and adults too?), who once they know what triggers its response... well, it becomes an incessant pain! ... LOL! Sorry, but in my humble opinion, this is more of a "novelty app", with the novelty wearing off REAL fast. Not unlike TRIX... "this apps for kids!"

Its a good Idea but it dont work if you have your screen shut off. Only if its on. Also it is annoying to have it on all the time with the red stripe across the top.

As long as your phone isnt under a couch cushion and you dont mind running around yelling Marco!.. I guess its okay. I usually lose mine at home. Thats right, Im a loser.

Great idea, but serious tweaks needed. Others have commented on annoying red banner, short range. etc. What surprised me was that I cannot use my Bluetooth phone connection if I have MP on in my car: the app takes over the system, silences any music I might be playing, and sets a timer going as if it were phone call. Its fun factor—try using it in a bar—cant overcome the problems yet. Looking forward to fixes.

This app only works when it is on, and typically only responds when you are right by the phone.

If the app isnt open it doesnt work so you can either drain your battery and hear a quiet voice when you yell Marco at the top of your lungs or you can keep the money and buy a better app. App is romanticised in the description..

App doesnt work at all, too bad because its a pretty cool idea. Also the red bar is annoying. This should be a background app

This app drained my battery so quickly also did not respond well to my voice at all. It would say polo randomly when the radio was on to. I was not very pleased with this app.

Some of the comments here are funny. This is a fun app. It gave me and my friends giggles listening to all the different voices. If you are expecting the app to work to work when your phone is power off...forget it. If you want it to work. Activate the app. If you cant stand the red bar on top of your screen, turn the app off (double click your home button and swipe the app off). Simple. It is a fun app and serve its purpose for me!

Terrible app not worth the effort even for free. Does not response to your voice many times and you need to be right on top of your phone for it to work the very few times it did. I would like my money back, and iTunes should remove this app.

Doesnt work to find phone - wish I hadnt bought it

Leaves a giant bar at the top of your home screen when its running and cant be removed. Has to be running to be used though. They have the nerve to write "unnoticeably runs in the background" which is a completely lie. Never regretted buying and app more.

This app does not work. I loaded it as an easy and fast way to find my phone. I tried it at home, and it did not respond unless You were very near to it.

Great idea, didnt like the constant red bar across the top so I used the Notification Center widget thinking that would be better on battery life anyways. But it wasnt really. Drastic reduction in battery life. Tested by removing the app from my devices and sure enough battery life came right back. Interestingly, the app doesnt report much battery usage in the Settings>General>Usage section, but my guess is its constantly discoverable by Bluetooth so hence the drain. What about pairing a couple devices to prevent this constant discovery? My battery life would come back and then Id be using this app all the time!!!

I thought this app would be cute. It is. Its a funny little parlour trick and not much else. It responds to words that are not remotely near what I set it for. This even occurred when I used the Marco default. You also have to have it running in the background constantly (listening). This gives me a weird vibe. It also must be a battery drainer.

This app held so much promise. Its a great idea but Marco does not work. When on, the phone calls out a response when not cued. Lost phones are not found because when actually cued it does not respond at all!! What a waste of time and money!
